This weekend, bring your family to Blossom for great movies and great music under the stars. On Saturday and Sunday August 30 and 31 at 8:30 p.m., the Blossom Festival Orchestra plays live music with projected film scenes from beloved Warner Bros. films, including Harry Potter, Batman Begins, Casablanca, The Jazz Singer, and 42nd Street. Come dressed as your favorite Warner Bros. movie character and enter a costume contest and view a display of rare Warner Bros. movie posters!

 | | Music Director Franz Welser-Möst committed to Cleveland to 2018
It has been announced that Franz Welser-Möst’s contract as Music Director of The Cleveland Orchestra will extend to 2018, the 100th season of The Cleveland Orchestra. Mr. Welser-Möst spoke about his long-term plans including Centennial Commissions, fully-staged opera at Severance Hall, collaboration with Miami City Ballet, and bringing the Orchestra to public schools.
